Thank you for taking the time to report a bug in Tradorade. Your feedback is extremely valuable and helps us improve the application for all traders. If you have discovered a technical issue that affects Tradorade's functionality, we are happy to help.

Is it really a bug?

Before reporting a bug, it is important to check whether it is truly a technical issue. A bug is an error in the application where Tradorade does not work as intended. For example: trades are not saved, statistics are calculated incorrectly, functions do not respond, or (part of) your trading journal data is missing.

Sometimes issues may look like bugs but are actually questions about how certain features work. For example, if you are unsure how to filter statistics by strategy or time frame, or if you need help setting up your trading journal, please first check our support page or ask your question in our Discord community. These resources can often help you quickly without there being a technical issue.

Reproduction

To resolve a technical bug effectively, we need detailed information about what exactly is happening. When reporting a bug, please try to collect the following:

Bug location: On which page or component does the issue occur? For example, while logging a trade, creating a strategy, or filtering your trading data.

Steps to reproduce: Describe exactly which steps you took before the bug occurred. This helps us reproduce the issue and find the root cause.

Expected behavior vs actual behavior: What did you expect to happen, and what actually happened? This helps us understand how the bug affects your use of the trading journal.

Additional details: Screenshots or screen recordings are very helpful. Information about your screen type and whether the issue occurs consistently or only under specific conditions also helps us resolve the bug faster.

Report a bug

The bug report form is available directly inside the Tradorade application. This makes it easy to report bugs while using your trading journal. To access the bug report form, you must be logged in to Tradorade. You can find it under the 'Help' button. Please complete the form as thoroughly as possible.
